First of all, the most noticeable change: SNOW! Since when does it snow on October 12? Maybe it has before, but I must have blocked it out of my memory.
One good thing about this day: it’s our 5 month anniversary! Yay for us! It really has been an amazing time so far. I am glad I get to keep Jim for a while longer…
Another change: My boss, Laura, and her family is moving to North Carolina in a couple months. I knew she was going to be leaving her job because her husband was looking for a job, so she was going to stay at home with their girls. Buuut, he hasn’t supposed to get a job in NC! I am happy for them, but their whole family will be missed. Her husband, Dean, served on my IT volunteer team, too. So, in the next month or so, I will be getting a new boss. That can bring both good and hard things, so we will see where it goes. There are chances that the new person may want to change the way my department is set up and that could affect my job. We shall see.
We changed the color of our dining room. Once I get decorations on the walls, I will post pictures. It’s a light mint spring greenish color. Hard to explain, but I love it. It really brightened up the room. We are hoping to paint the bathroom soon. Realistically it will probably be over Thanksgiving break.
Time to dig out the hat, gloves, and snow brush!
Wendell! Now its my turn to fall off the chair…color on your walls…I’m so proud of you guys. Love the sound of the green you described…we can be dining room twins now, maybe sorta.
